About Allen Temple AME Church

Our Vision

The vision of Allen Temple is to be the kind of church where everyone has a close, loving, sincere relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. We seek to become an intergenerational church family that recognizes the wisdom of senior members, the determination of middle adults, the creativity of young adults, and the inquisitiveness of youth and children.

Our Mission

The Mission of the African Methodist Episcopal Church is to minister to the spiritual, intellectual, physical and emotional, and environmental needs of all people by spreading Christ's liberating gospel through word and deed.

Our mission at Allen Temple is to create an atmosphere of love that will enrich the lives of every member and visitor in the church. We seek to do this through living a godly life developed through engaging in five spiritual exercises:

1. Praying
2. Reading/studying God's Word
3. Praise/worship
4. Fellowship
5. Stewardship of all resources provided by God
